We are reviewing another 100% IRISH product here at SnappedUp.ie! We just love love love reviewing products, particularly if they’re Irish! Supporting Irish products means supporting the Irish economy. Therefore we’re all winners 🙂
I received Human + Kind‘s beautifully packaged all-in-one Cleanser, Exfoliator and Moisturiser, Im a sucker for good marketing 🙂 Seems like a pretty innovative beauty product if you ask me, you save both time and money. There is a lot of hype surrounding this range. This amazing brand has featured on programmes such as Xpose, RTE Nationwide, and they have also received an award from Irish Tatler magazine. So once I heard all of that, of course I wanted to find out what they are all raving about!
Their range is quite extensive actually; anything from body oils to anti-aging creams. Their aim is to challenge the beauty industry’s theory, who says we need to use a different product for each part of our skin? So this brand have come up with a 3 in 1 product to leave your skin looking radiant and beautiful! Practical or what?
Here’s how I got on…
The packaging was completely reflective of the product. Simple, pure, fresh and an almost ‘organic’ feel to the product. It definitely looks like the type of product you want to clean your skin with.
- Animal testing
included in the product!
The fluffy free white cloth you get with the product is super soft! Its almost too good to ruin, that’s why I didn’t want to put it near my face full of make-up! I used a baby wipe in an effort to clean excess make-up from my face beforehand.
I applied a sufficient amount of the product to my skin with my finger tips. Massaging it gently into my skin and then I used the dampened face cloth to remove the product. You could clearly see the make-up on the washcloth, the cleanser was proving a winner. I then washed my face completely using the face cloth and a little more water to remove the remainder of the product. It didn’t take long at all!
I was left with soft smooth and make-up free skin. Afterwards, I decided to really put the product to the test and use my own cleanser afterwards. THIS was the result….
Making allowances for the bits that I may have missed and considering I rubbed this all over my face, this is fairly clean. Overall I was satisfied that my make-up had been removed. Result!
And how do you know the product is exfoliating your skin? There are no micro-beads in it, its smooth in texture. You know it has exfoliated because your skin is left so smooth afterwards. Rather than the tightness and sticky feeling you get after cleanser (no matter how expensive) you can feel that the dead skin cells have been removed.
A little downside to the product, or possibly an area for improvement, after using it I did still feel the need for my moisturiser afterwards. I do have generally dry skin but I felt the product just didn’t leave me moisturised enough. Could it just be me? Would love to hear your feedback if any of you have tried this too 🙂
